Gm847

Will a GM 847 work with stock heads and if so, what all will i need to do the cam change. What kind of price range will i be in and what track numbers will i be into with long tubes the cam, 58mm tb, MAF, CAI, drag radials and 4.10s with a 6 speed?

Figure about low 12's with a 6speed and a 10 bolt.

If it was an A4 car I'd say 11's, but there's only so much a 10 bolt can take behind a 6spd.

figure around $1200 For the cam & all supporting valve train upgrades, Then you will need new gaskets, fluid, plugs, Opti (recommended Not needed) Then a tune of coarse. I say by the time it's all over with about $1800 in parts (new) but things can be found cheaper used if you go that route.
