Getting screwed by Rockauto and/or Wagner

Summary:

1. Order 2 new Wagner rear brake rotors

2. Open the box, 1 rotor says "Made in the USA" (great quality, heavy etc), the other is china's finest light weight turd

3. Both rotors are in Federal Mogul boxes with the correct part numbers that clearly say "Made in the USA" on the labels

4. Call up rockauto to see what happened and the rep tells me that they just pull a box with that part number from the warehouse blah blah

5. Then she says she will call Wagner (Federal Mogul) to find out why I have two different quality rotors with the same part number

6. Then she tells me that Wagner says "that is a quality rotor it just looks different but is the same, and sometimes that is the product they ship"...

7. After I get up off the floor, she proceeds to inform me that everbody outsources overseas even AC Delco, Wagner, Motorcraft etc

8. I say you can have you chinese turd back and she says I have to take pictures of the good rotor and stick it in the box with the turd rotor with a "nice" note to the warehouse guys asking them to ship a rotor that looks like this picture

9. I'm awaiting shipping instructions now, she said I have to pay for shipping too

Update:

For those of you who give a rats a$$ about my problems, rockauto shipped the correct rotor after I shipped back the turd. They did a good job. Don't know if someone was trying to put one over on me or not, but oh well.

Hey mdacton,

Thanks for you valuable input...

I hate junk Chinese parts and go out of my way to find USA made parts.

When you post on the wrong forum, people have a right to bring it to your attention. Your topic has NOTHING to do with "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech". It forced someone's valid LT1/LT4 engine post off the bottom of the page faster.... not very considerate toward others. He's right, you're wrong
