Gears/ What's a good ratio for my car

I have a '95 Z, no mods except cold air. It's an A/T and I think it has 2.72's in it. I was thinking of 3.43 or even 3.73. any opinions on what I should get and what brand. I do plan on doing quite a few things in the near future. Headers, exhaust, adj. fuel pres. , eventually a LT4 hotcam and port my heads a little. etc.

Wow, how ironic! I had 2.73s, and the guy who installed my 3.73s is named Jason Pittman!

3.73 is a great gear......I love mine.

I would go with 3.73's unless you plan on running nitrous in the future....then i'd go with the 3.42's.

Another vote for the 3.73's. You'll love them!

3.73's would be a great choice for you. I would also go with GM gears.
