Gear change on a 93

If I was to change the gears in my car I just have to adjust the speedo right?

I don't have to re-program the PCM right?

I have a 700R4.

You have to get a speedo recalibration box and splice it into the wiring harness. It's like $80 from SLP, but I caught wind of a rumor that they quit selling it. The speedo can't be reprogrammed by doing a computer chip.

Can't you get a gear clip for the speedo cable from GM that would make it 3.73s?

Just change your speedo geers....it'll save you a lot of money compared to the SLP recalibrator
