You have to look at everything that is on the circuit and find out what's drawing excess current, shorted out, etc.. There's a list in your Owner's Manual that show what's on each fuse. If you don't have a Manual, Shoebox has a link to them online:

thanks Fred.. Down loaded the manual. says: Powertrain Control Module
(PCM), Fuel Pump Relay are controlled by fuse. I replaced the Fuel Pump Relay and blows fuse. When the fuel pump relay is removed does blow.. Is this pointing to the fuel pump?

Seems like either the relay is shorting or there is something causing the fuel pump circuit to draw excessive amps. Could be anything from the relay to the pump, or the pump itself. Could be a short in the wiring harness from the relay to the pump.

Yea I see that.. Glad I didnt opt for the bigger fuse to see what would happen.. The wires to the pump got so hot the insulation melted of the wire and melded them together..Name: DSC08338.jpg

Putting in a bigger fuse to "see what happens" is always inviting bigger problems.

Glad to see you found the problem and it didn't turn into a bigger mess.
