is this a fuel system problem?

hey guys, you gotta help me figure out my brother's 95 Formula. It has almost 170k miles on it, but we just bought it and put new wires, plugs, opti, coil, spark module, ect. on it. It ran really smooth right after we did that. I ran it through the gears and it didn't miss a beat . He took it out the next day, and i heard him start heading up the street and it started spittin and sputterin like you wouldn't believe. i went and got the car and drove it: i take off in first gear and get to about 2500rpm and it starts doing it to me...if you give it more gas it starts bucking back and forth (i swear the rear tires almost left the ground! so i pull it into the garage and decide to free rev it to see the exact rpm it does this. it didn't do it. so i take it back down the road and it lets me run through the rpms until 4500 and then it begins sputtering again until you get the rpms back down. any ideas? he's had the car since the end of May and has not even had much of a chance to learn to drive the 6speed!
Thanks,
Michael

Since it was working after you did all of that, I would say check everything that you added to it. If could be a fuel system problem, but in my experience, it's usually the thing that you last worked on.
