Fuel pumps prices
Fuel pumps prices
I found the OEM fuel pump (AC Delco #25160334) for 180.79 at RockAuto (www.rockauto.com). All my local vendors want $292 for the exact same pump 9 I have written quotes). Has anyone had experience with this vendor? Fuel pump plus filter screen and 2 day shipping $217. This is a great price.
TIA

Re: Fuel pumps prices
Ok. Do have have to do any mods to the bucket that holds the pump?
Is the opening of the bucket difficult?
Is this truly plug and play? I do not want any wire cutting or fuel bucket alterations. I want to plug and go.
TIA
Addendum:
It sounds like the only good way to go is to buy the wiring kit with the pump. From reading the stock wiring is not sufficient to ran the pump for maximum gains because of the voltage and ampage required.
I never race this vehicle. I barely drive her 1000 miles a year. I am not sure I need this added fuel pump performance. Don't get me wrong the complete kit looks like a lot of fun to install and I am somewhat tempted. My modifications days are over. When I was in my teens and 20's (about 30 years ago) I loved to mod vehicles. I also discovered that with each mod the uniqueness of the vehicle created problems when solving problems. This is another thread material....

You get a wiring harness that does not require any splicing.
A new flex tube.
A PROPER 30 micron filter sock for the bucket etc...
email support@racetronix.com and we will send you instructions.
