Fuel pump trap door walkthrough link?

Anyone have the link to the tutorial? I need the part # for the trap door also. Also does anyone know where I can pick up sheep metal shears and how much they cost? I got a A/F of 16:1 . My v6 fuel pump is dying and I can't drop the gas tank my exhaust is all welded. Thanks.

Re: Fuel pump trap door walkthrough link?

I did the trap door, there is no part # for the door, at least not for the 4th gen. I cut it out with sheet (not sheep) metal sheers and made a panel to cover it. I already had the sheers but you can get them at Home Depot or any other hardware store for $5 or so along with a piece of sheet metal to cover it. I used a piece of 22 ga sheet metal for the door. There are guides for it here, just search for 'fuel pump' or 'fuel pump door' and you'll find it.

Use SMALL sheet metal screw, dont forget the tank is right up against the metal, would suck to screw into the tank on accident.
