Fuel Pump Fuse?
Fuel Pump Fuse?
Does anyone know if the fuel pump has a fuse? Installing a AFPR today and need to disable the fuel pump to reduce the fuel pressure. There doesn't seem to be one but the Hypertech instruction say there is one.
EDIT: Is this what needs to be removed? http://csce.uark.edu/~jgbertr/rb/fuel_pump_relay.jpg

I don't know for sure if there is a fuse but most instructions I read said disconnect the fuel pump plug near the gas tank.
When I did my AFPR, I just pushed the needle down on the valve where your gauge would go next to the pressure regulator and that released the pressure and ofcourse with a rag around it to keep the gas from spilling around if the engine is still hot.
I think also, if the car sits around for more than 15 minutes or so the pressure drops down a lot also.
