Fuel pump?? AFPR??

This car had been sitting a year or 2 when i bought it and did the work that was in my sig. The car cranked right up after sitting for a while but after fixing car i drove it to the muffler shop (20 miles) and to my friend body shop (20 miles). The car seemed fine when i parked it he has pulled it in and out of the shop about 5 time but today it would not start not even hit. The car has spark and i have not checked fuel pressure not i am sure that is what is.. I pressed the fuel valve and just how a little squirt. If i put in a walbro 255 pump do i need a AFPR or will the stock one be fine?? And do you think that it the pump sence it had been sitting for 2 year and not started??

You could have sucked something up out of the tank and the fuel filter could be clogged. Is the pump priming when you turn on the key? Personally, I believe the only reason to have an afpr is for upping your fuel pressure for nitrous. As long as you have the right injectors, I can't really think of a reason to have one.

Yea the pump sound like it priming fine. I going to check fuel pressure as soon as i can.. I drive a truck so i dont get a lot of time to work on it.. if it's low i will try the filter first because it has been sittin for a few years. I did not know about the AFPR because i have had a few honda's for my work rides (work 120 miles 1-way) and i have put walbro 255 in them and you have to put a AFPR or it will blow the stock one out in a days time.. And i have had a few people tell me i had to have one..

I've ran a stock fpr for sometime now. I have an afpr, but that goes on with the nitrous kit, which I haven't got around to installing yet. You should be fine.
