fuel pump??

fuel pump??
car will start with starting fluid and idle briefly, but not rev up. then dies....sound like fuel pump? can i install inline fp and leave in-tank pump in tank, or what should i do

Use a test gauge to check the fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel rail. As I understand it, a failed internal pump will not allow you to suck fuel through it with an external pump.
