Smile Fuel Pump

I'm just looking at where I should speend my $$$ and was thinking about upgradeing my fuel pump and found this:
http://www.racetronix.com/Racetronix..._Pump_Kit.html

Is this a good Fuel pump?

Would I need the Kit + Harness or just the pump?

Re: Fuel Pump

yes, this is a good fuel pump. i use it and i believe many others do as well. the plug'n'play kit is nice. i got it because its a good setup. i dont think that its absolutely necessary though.

Re: Fuel Pump

So you don't think I would need this for my setup?

How much HP will a stock fuel pump support.

Acording to my 1/4 mile times from the strip I have around 470HP (I think that is what I figureed) and that is with a 2.4 60ft.

Re: Fuel Pump

Get your car dyno tuned with a wide band O2 sensor. This will tell you if your fuel system can keep up. If you need a bigger pump, Racetronix is the way to go including the plug and play harness.

Re: Fuel Pump

definitely get the pump (or at least i would).

i was saying that i dont believe the Plug'n'play kit is absolutely necessary. it is a very nice kit and i would get it. it includes all new wiring for the new fuel pump, but it is not an absolute have to have in order to run the pump.

Re: Fuel Pump

O.k, well I do have a dyno tune coming up on June 18 so I'll see what kind of info I get from that.
