Easy way to find out would be to hook up a fuel pressure gauge.

In the 41-47psi range. Here is a tutorial courtesy of Shoebox: http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.htm...essure_testing

There is no pressure adjustments to be made with a stock FP regulator. If indeed your fuel pump cannot keep up with demand, then you will need a new pump.

Its pretty well known that the adj. fuel pressure regulators are a waste of money and often cause more problems then they are worth. If you are indeed having fuel delivery problems, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator is only trying to offer a band aid to a more serious problem. What are the symptoms that the car is experiencing that makes you believe you are having fuel problems?

All of this started right after the cam install? Are you sure you installed the timing chain and optispark correctly?

I would hook up a gauge and still double check the fuel pressure. It isn't uncommon for the check valve, which maintains pressure in the fuel rail for starting, to get dirty and stick open. This in turn causes the fuel pressure to bleed off quickly causing hard starts.
