a fuel problem

recently i installed some ported heads on my 97 ta. After i got it started and bled i took it for a test drive. After about mile it starts to load up bad, i rev it and it clears ot for a sec and barely makes it home. i pull one of the plugs out of the driver side and they are fouled so i pull one out of the passenger and they are fine if not alittle bit lean. the only thing i have changed is i rewired my o2's because they were wired pretty bad. The driver side one i managed to solder at work but the passenger side i just but connected together. the o's have always been but connected and it has been for like 3 years now. So what would make it be full rich on one side and not he other.
O2's or something eles that i have looked over?

Wiring from the O2 to the connector should never be cut and spliced. They actually "breath" O2 through the wiring. I've even read in magazines that dielectric grease shouldn't be used on the connector because of the need to breath.

Seems if you can't get back to the original connectors, but splice is better than soldering. Corrosion will however get you in the end if you don't go back to connectors.
