Of course. Some people have had issues with those as well. You should be able to turn it up to at least 60, assuming pump and filter are in good condition, no leaks. If you can't fix it try talking to Accel and see if you can get a free replacement.

Re: fuel pressure regulator

The AFPR works by closing down the fuel return flow back to the tank. Simply pinch the return line to block off flow, and the pressure should rise to the shutoff pressure of the pump, in excess of 60psi. If blocking the return line raises the pressure, but the AFPR can't do the same, the AFPR is faulty. If you get the same pressure by blocking off the return line that your AFPR max's out at, you have a weak fuel pump, or the diaphragm on the AFPR is allowing fuel to flow into the vacuum compensation line. Pull the vacuum line off and look/smell for raw fuel.

The adjustables are MUCH more failure prone than stockers, one brand in particular(not Accel) you could about expect to blow in a week

The power was down big time on my Z and a new fuel pump fixed it. I never actually checked the pressure but the car only put down 320 rwhp on the dyno and fell on its face about 5k rpm. The stock pump also had 140k on it and was drawing my volt gauge all the way down to 12.5. I just went with a new Racetronix pump and harness now its a beast all over again.

Re: fuel pressure regulator

The Aeromotive were the REALLY bad ones, but even besides that I read about more dead adjustables than stockers and most run stock. Then again I woul argue against their(adjustables) use altogether.
