Fuel pressure regulator

I noticed a fuel smel in the engine compartment of my car and i felt around to see where it was coming from and it turns out the fuel pressure regulator was wet with fuel, this was when the car was cold, and I turned the key to on, to prime the pump. Does this mean my FRP died?
Should I change it to an adjustable FPR, or is it not worth it?
Thanks.

fuel pressure regulator

Well as far as whether your regulator is shot I suppose it it a possiblity but it could also be that the O-ring is shot and it's leaking out of there. When it comes to whether the adjustable fuel pressure regulator is worth it, I have one for TPIS.com and I didn't notice any gains as far as HP goes(Think I wasted my money ).The ECU in the car actually compensates for any changes in fuel pressure and I believe the only real way to lean out the car and gain HP is through getting it programmed. Hope I helped
