Fuel pressure question.
Fuel pressure question.
My car had some work done and has been running lovely.
Recently in a race against my brother she was breaking up around 4500rpms and up.
The last time I checked the fuel pressure it was at 41 and would drop under load to 36psi.
What do you guys think?

At WOT, the fuel pressure should hold at, or VERY close to the same pressure it runs at idle with the vacuum line disconnected.... in your case that appears to be 41psi. The only time the pressure should drop below 41psi would be when there is a decent vacuum available, at idle and at part throttle.
And, even when the rail pressure drops under high vacuum, the pressure DIFFERENCE across the injectors is still 41psi, the rail pressure just drops to compensate for the fact that the spray end of the injector is under a vacuum.
