Is the fuel pressure reulator "stock", or aftermarket?

typically when a regulator goes bad it's the diaphragm being damaging and making the motor dump fuel for no reason.

sounds like a pump, those walbros are pretty hit or miss from my experience.

The Walbro seems to have a questionable reliability. Maybe it just seems like there are a lot of failures because so many people are using them. I have one Bosch "208" pump that is 15 years old, another that is 10 years old, and have never had a problem with either.

Walbros did have an issue with a plastic part from a supplier (so they told me). It failed on mine, and they (sort of, I had to jump through some hoops) replaced it. Also, the Granatellis and Holleys are actually Walbros, just repackaged. If I were to do it again, I would go with a TRE Performance. Half the price, complete installation kit, and a one year warranty. Walbros have no warranty at all.
I have heard great things about the Bosch pumps also.
