Fuel issue

Ok, so my car is a 95 formula and has had extended crank for some time now about 8-10 seconds before start. But after its ran it will start right up just fine. So i brought it up to school and started testing....
Pressure drops 20 psi in 10-20 minutes yay.... So i close of the pressure line and it still drops pressure so im thinkin regulator. But for ****s n giggles i close the pressure and return off. It still drops pressure yay leaking injector. Now im not sure if only one is leaking down or if more are havent pulled the rail off yet. so i price out injector.

New oe injector
$75.08 per injector

Svo 30lb injectors
$243.99 (8-pack)
$5 special order fee
$15 shipping n handling

Accel 30lb injectors
$293.99 (8-pack)
no shipping

I'm thinkin im gonna go with the svo should i put a adjustable regulator on with that or not???

Thanks, Matt

Just buy used stock ones. You can get them for $50 or so....

I have a set you can get. Or you can send them to someone who cleans, flowmatches and rebuilds injectors...its $8 to $20 per injector depending on what it needs.

Remember that you will have to be able to program for new injector sizes if you put them on.

Without knowing what mod's you have in the engine, its hard to tell if there is any value for you in going to a larger injector. Why not add a "signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans, and any major mods.

In any case, there is not much value in an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, unless you are running excessively high on injector duty cycle.

^^^+1, as any other injectors will likely require tuning. You could get used or reconditioned stockers.
