fuel filter change?

Ive put about 15,000 mies on my car since ive bought it and havnt changed the fuel filter once. And, im not sure when it was changed before that. Ive heard alot of good things about changing it on this board. I was just wondering how long it would take or if i should even do it?

I think it's good, easy, and cheap preventative maintenance. Pick yourself up an AC Delco filter and swap it. Very easy job. Since I think it's been described here recently I won't go into details, just do a search.

It's a little silver cylinder box thingamaggigy on the floorpan under the rear driver's side... Just get under there with a catch pan and you'll figure out the connectors on the inlet and outlet of the filter.

One important thing, don't forget your matchbook! Key part of the install right there

Okay it was a joke so scratch that I'm not trying to get sued hehe.

I did it yesterday, takes about 5-10 minutes and is very simple.

Cars with 50k miles (+) need to look into a new fuel filter if it hasn't already been changed. A new fuel filter will take away that hesitation....

Use a catch pan and be patient, and you should end up with no fuel covering you or the ground.
