Question fuel filter able to freeze??

this morning we had our first freeze of the fall. When i tried to start my car it would rev but not turn over. Had a small puff of smoke come up too. After a few tries it finally did. I assumed it was fuel related. Could I have gotten condensation in the fuel filter, enought to freeze and mess up fuel flow? Is a florida car so has really never been in the cold. what else could it be, besides the stinkin pump hehe.

Thanks as always guys
Josh

Try some Iso-Heat. They're in the red and yellow bottles. I throw a bottle of that ever time I fill up my daily driver in the winter.

You may want to consider where you get your gas from. I used to have a similar problem with my Sentra and what used to be my favorite place to get gas because of the price. I started putting in a different companies gas and I had no more problems in the winter time.
