I went with poly, 35mm sway, Koni Shocks etc. Guess it all depends what you want. I notice a little more "road" in the wheel but the car feels very tight.

I had the complete ES "master set" installed... upper and lower a-arms, sway bar in the front, LCA's, panhard rod, sway bar in the back, TA bushing and tranny mount. The front end was solid as a rock with the poly bushings. Not harsh... just solid and precise. The sway bar stuff was almost as good as putting a larger sway bar in.

A lot of the parts have since been removed as the car became a track car, but when it was set up for the street, the poly components had it cornering like it was on rails.

Don't know how the ES and PST kits compare. I bought the ES kit at least 6 years ago. The Summit catalog has some of the ES Master kits, but they don't list the 93-01 Camaro/Firebird set, which is part # 3.18130. As I recall the price is about $170.

Whether it is worth is depends on what pieces you need. If you already have the tranny mount, LCA's, panhard rod, etc, you have already upgraded the bushings. So you might want to look just at the front end kit, plus the front and rear sway bar bushings/end links.

Looking back, I still have the ES tranny mount on my TH400/Gear Vendor, the TA bushing is long gone, replaced by the Spohn TA. Same with the LCA and panhard rod bushing. Front sway bar is long gone. Rear sway bar also replaced with the Spohn "drag" sway bar, so the only pieces I still have, in addition to the tranny mount are the upper and lower front A-arm bushings. And they will probably be gone when I go to a tubular k-member/a-arms.

Hey highlander, I do not think PST sells their stuff through anyone else but themselves. One great thing that I have to say about the PST stuff is that they are graphite impregnated poly, so there are no squeaks that usually come with all poly stuff(ie: from energy suspension). But as always that can be overcome with a regular lub of all the points. BUt like I told you before I have had the PST front end stuff on for years and it works great and does not squeak. Good Luck.

I found this guy here... 220 not bad... Lets hope and see

Injuneer.. the part number you gave me says its not for 1le option... Why??

The other thing.. this kit doesn't seem as complete as the front end kit from P-S-T. Its more all around...

I mean, it doesn't include the ball joints nor the tie rods...

LMK

Just put the part # into Summit online... .they will probably have it. They just don't list all the parts they carry in the catalg.

Don't know the difference for the 1LE... I don't have one.

ES kit is bushings. Apparently thhe PST kit has other stuff in it like ball joints and rod ends.

I was just trying to help you with my experience, part #, etc.... I can't really defend why Summit does or doesn't sell something, why another manufacturer puts different parts in his kit, or why it may or may not fit a model I don't own. I can only tell you what I did and why.

Call the 800 number. They have less than 1/10th of their parts in the catalog. So far I've even found that they usually have the parts that are listed as b/o on the web. I use the web when it works, but don't hesitate to call to order. IMO Summit rules!

I should probably get a stock dividend given how much I've spent there...

I contacted PST to find out what brand of ball joints were included in their complete front end kit. They replied that they couldn't tell me! I wanted to make sure I was getting quality parts in the kit...so I say screw them and just bought ES bushings and Moog ball joints from Summit. The price can out the same as the PST kit anyway!

I put the PST full front end kit, LCA and sway bar on my car back in '98.

I have had no problems with the bushing or the Ball joints and tie rods. The car had 30,000 miles on it then and they are still in there at 90,000. I want to replace them and I'm contemplating whether I should go with the ES or PST kit again.

I can say I was satisfied with the PST kit I never had squeaks from those bushing. I had Sport Trucks by Dean install them and before I bought them he tried to convince me to go with OE bushings because of the Squeaking. But with the PST kit, I can say I never had them.

The reason that PST probably puts ball joints in there kit is because they mainly sell rebuild kits for muscle cars so they probably just decided to do the same for the 4th gen F-body kit too.
