Hope this helps you all!

I *think* he's trying to say that removing the AIR system got rid of his stumble.

If that's not it, i'll have to put in my vote with a as well.

I don't know if this is his case, but for me, I had a crack on the AIR injection tubing - the one that goes into the manifold. I guess that could cause an exhaust leak, and mess up a/f ratios, cause false knock, all that good stuff..

but its still anyone's guess. For all I know, he could be saying he removed AIR and left it open and the car runs better now.. which might explain his post (exhaust fumes in cabin, anyone?)

What does going straight to 800 have to do with a stumble?

Not sure if it deals with this but i noticed somethin the other day.

When i start my car up...the RPM's go up to 1500 and then drop and get kinda sticky at 1250 and then finally drop and stay at 1000...all takes like 2 seconds...is this normal?

My father mentioned this to me too. He has a 95 Imp, and he said it ran a while lot better after the !Air, possible coincidence I guess.

I think Ill try it when Im ready for that mail order tune....
