Turns out I blew a cat on the way down there.. that would cause a loss in power wouldnt it? The rattling in my exhaust is coming from the cat and when you just hit the cat it rattles. Im gonna take it apart as soon as I get a new one. Its barely two months old too so I dont understand why it blew already.

Blowing a cat is bad luck----plus it is against the law in most states.

What brand is it? I would buy a different brand this time and i just bought a Magnaflow and it came with a warranty so i hope you have some paperwork. I would think you would have had to hit it hard or it was damaged when you installed it or faulty design or materials.

Good luck with the replacement, and yes your times should improve if it was clogged. Just don't forget what Bubba said.

Check for a misfire on the side that failed, burnt wire, etc.
