Found out why I can't hook. Need advice

I lined up with 4 Fbody guys today and my rear won't bounce even one inch.

You could bounce the rear end on the other cars 3-4 inches!!

I have urethan bushings in my rear sway bar with WS6 springs.

I have a set of HAL 12 way adjustable shocks sitting in the basement.

Should I just put them in and set them to a very soft setting or should I get softer springs or??

I like the adjustable shock idea. This way for normal driving you can have it set firm for good handleing adn soft for the drag strip

You will be able to push the rear of the car down with the Hals, even with stock springs. The rears are so easy to put on, I am surprised you have not done it yet.

Been a really busy summer.

Gonna do them in 10 mins.

What should I set the HALs to if my suspension is super stiff Rob? 3? 4?

That's a good place to start for normal driving. You will want softer for the track. Since there is not a lot of weight in the back, the higher settings get very stiff.

I have my rear shocks set at 5 and it's not bad. Any stiffer and the rear gets really bouncy going down the road.
