Oil seemed to go down after a while. Its weird with the fuel pressure because I swear I hear it leaking somewhere but can't find it. Not sure about the linkage.it doesn't engage anywhere.

I hate to do it but I have to tear it out again and rip into it. I have a Trans guy close so hopefully I can get it figured out.

check your fluid in it. I just did a quick search and check with engine off and with it running should see a difference in fluid level if you dont it points to a pump problem. also be sure you have all your connectors hooked up and no blown fuses. Might be helpful to scan it also.

First rides around the block.ran real ****ty at first then the rockers stopped making noise and the engine smoothed out. Oil pressure is staying at 40 and bouncing a little. Got a different sensor in case its bad. I also have Dash lights flashing at first start up, like its going with the idle. Would that be the ground for the pcm?

The first fan doesn't kick on until about 220. Its always been that way. My Camaro barely ever goes above the first line.

Re: first start of new engine

Actually, both fans are programmed to come on at 226*F, low speed. Then high speed at 235*F.

And it's fuse #11 in the underhood box.

Did you figure out why your header gaskets were leaking? I bought the same Percy gaskets for mine but I don't want to bother with them if I'm going to have problems out of them

If I am guessing correctly about what you mean with lights flickering at idle - in a car with a bumpin stereo the current draw will cause flickering or fade. Perhaps your battery isnt up or alt isnt performing. Putting headlights on may eggagerate it.

When I first start the car I have the brake light and a few others that flicker like they are going with the idle.after a few seconds they stop. It is not like a blinking but really weird flicker fading in and out.

The gaskets are not leaking. I didn't have one bolt tightened good.

No stereo hooked up right now either.

Sounds like the alternator regulator is weak, unless your idle rpm is really low. Having just had the car apart, have you checked all of your grounds? Loose grounds do strange things to our cars. These are my two best guesses lol.
