Finished hot cam install....

First off, the hot cam has a rougher idle than I thought, or is that just because I didn't get the computer tuned yet? Also when I come up to a stop sign, the car idles at like 500 RPMs in drive( the car is an A4), and feels like it wants to stall and the whole car shakes really bad, will getting it tuned solve this problem also. How long does it usually take to get the computer tuned?

Yes, you must have the ECM retuned. Ion (madz28) can have a retuned ECM in about 2 to 4 days. You then just send you stocker back and you get the core charge back. You can also buy a new ECM from plus the tune and keep your stocker.. It is up to you,,

Definately get a tune. Ion did a great job on my initial tune and you will
immediately notice the difference at low speeds.

Thanks for the replies. I just emailed MadZ28. Did you two get the knock sensor desensitized? Do think thats a good idea because of the roller rockers and headers?

Yes it is good to desensatize the knock sensor. Get a LT4 knock module as well.

Yes, My ride is basically stock, also. You will notice a big change with his tune. I did!
