i need to take my motor out and the only thing i haven't figured out (from haynes) is how to take the freon out of the ac. it says to take it to a reputable shop....but the car is not driveable. do i just open up a schraeder valve? thanks for any help.

Thats what I did.
Just use gloves and keep your face away from it.
