File logging software

Is there any free file logging software for obd1 cars.I need to log some files for my Z,running very rich,so I can diagnose the problem.

http://www.akmcables.com/dss.htm this is for DataMaster logging program. It allows for 20 logs before you have to buy the software, its worth it if you like it. DL and try it out.

There is also a downloadable scan program called "FreeScan" for OBD-I cars. I think Andrew covers all of this on his AKM Electronics site, that was linked in an above post.


I'll post a copy of my scanner guide a little later, which shows all the hardware and software options for OBD-I and OBD-II.

Completely free, and gets the job done for logging and code dumping. I used this along with Excel for tuning.

Datamaster has a huge fan base but I never much got into it, the instant graphing function is kinda nice, but its not exactly safe to watch your passenger seat while going WOT in 4th gear, so I just stick to Freescan, and hey its free.

You can export data with Datamaster to use with Excel, but thier export scheme is bothersome, especially with header info (field seperation).
