F'ed up story.
F'ed up story.
I had a clutch problem that i couldn't figure out so i took it to the Dealership to fix.....well they said it was something in the clutch so they pulled it $180....didn't find anything wrong...thought it was the clutch that was rusted on...
that didn't fix it.....so they thought that the slave the i just put on wasn't good....ordered another one...this time with the slave and master cylinder.....$120....they couldn't get it in til the next day....well i had to go back to dallas because i had to go to work....So I told them to try that and get it fixed....well they called me two days later and said that they already replaced the starter and all of the plugs now....they said that the car loaded up on gas and backfired and blew my starter out....$150 starter and $70 plugs....didn't even say that was ok....didn't fix it....Pulled the transmission again...$180 and found a spring lodged in my pressure plate and the gm place couldn't find it....until they charged me for 2 transmission pulls....I don't understand how they can do that...I mean they didn't fix sh*t the first time and that was 180 bucks then they pulled it again and charged me 180 bucks again......and found the spring....then when they was driving the car around i guess one of them got a wild hair and broke my rearend.....they said it was because of something that i did...but it worked when i brought it to them.....What's going on here?

File a complaint against them...thier super Bull****ting You!
Don't see how you can pull any tranny without noticing a spring in the freaking pressure plate...Thier giving you a Load of BS...either A. The guy who pulled your tranny is Stevie Wonder...or B. They're taking you for a ride...
I'd contact the BBB right away and file my complaint against them...total f34king rip off...and BTW it's law for a company to quote you the repair charges for anything over $50.00

LMFAO
anyway, you should definitely file a complaint. theres no way a rear showing no symptoms of breaking can break on its own without hard driving. they probably found the problem right away with the first pull, then they kept your car and ran up rediculous charges. When you left, they took your car out and beat the living **** out of your perfectly fixed transmission and blew the crap out of your rear.

Don't even play around. Just ask them straight out if they are going to fix it. If they try to give you crap, just tell them you need a straight yes or no answer and you're not in the mood to have someone blow smoke up your ***. (say it just like that)
If they say yes, you tell them you want it in writing and you're on your way to pick that up.
If they say no, just hang up on them and call a lawyer NOW. Don't wait for the dealership to get it's act together.

I hate when I hear stories like this...makes all the good Dealers out there seem that much worse...
What Dealership was it? maybe you can run thier info through the BBB to see thier History...
If you really want to get on them...file your complaint with the States attourney General...they waste no time!
But just to keep your head above water stay cool about it...
First thing you do is tell them you want "ALL" the parts they took off of your car. Don't accept "Oh, we don't have them." Document everything they say they did and whom you spoke too and when.

Thanks guys for all of the comments....I'm going to at least try and get back 1 of the transmission pulls that I payed for....I don't think that it is fair to charge some one twice for something that should have only been charged once for.....I mean i would feel bad charging someone for something that i couldn't figure out and then charge them again to look at it again...
