Fan Wiring

What would be the easiest way of wiring my fans to come on high when I turn acc on or without cranking?

You could buy a SLP manual fan switch if you want easy. Short pin H of connector C100 to ground with a toggle switch if you want cheap.

Awhile back I had a 95 v6 camaro and had a hotwire running to a fuse in the compartment under the hood. I just can't remember how I did it but it came on when I put the key in the on position , I think I had it wired to my radio fuse or something

#1, bypassing the relays is a bad idea. Relays are better for high current loads. That's why the factory uses them.

#2, running a power wire to the interior that carries lots of amperage to run the fans runs the risk of fire hazard. If the wire is not fused, it's even worse.

#3, running the fans all the time is wasteful, not only for unneeded wear on the fans but making the alternator create power (hence HP drag) to run them.

#4, fans running all the time can keep the engine too cool, especially in the winter.

I think I could jump the fan relays in the fuse-box. Connect terminals D2 and J2 in the underhood fuse compartment, then run the two wires through a 1-amp fuse. Then attach the same wire to a 2-pole switch, and connect the other terminal on the switch to ground (For OBDI only)

You can look on my Tech Page for fan switch wiring like it ought to be done. MHO, of course.

Thats a lot of work, it is as simple as I posted above, short pin H of connector C100 to ground with a toggle switch, then the fans will run on high.

Sorry, no they won't. Only the RH fan will run on high if you do that. The LH fan won't even come on.

You still have to run a wire and put in a switch. My diagram is no more work than what you said. It's the same thing (and method) you get with an SLP fan switch - only cheaper.
