engine wiring connectors???

Where can I buy the weatherpack connectors that are on the engine wiring harness? I need to replace the O2 and the knock sensor connectors.

There are no weather-pack terminals/connectors underhood. They are either metri-pack, or micro-pack. There is a diff. Not stating they don't exist, but don't recall ever seeing weather-pack connectors, for american vehicles, at a gm dealer.

Re: engine wiring connectors???

I realize the knock sensor has a cylindrical female, inside the sensor, which would lead the less familiar to believe it required a round male weatherpack terminal to mate up to. However, the knock sensor connection is not like that of your traditional sealed connection, of which a weather-pack is. However, looking through the Delphi catalog, the only other cylindrical terminals are micro-pack. They also, are of the sealed variety though. Your guess is as good as mine here, a weather-pack might actually work, but not convinced, the correct choice. But I consider it a mute point, as I figure you're better off, getting a complete connector, as per the 'Shoe'. The O2 is a 150 metri-pack terminal. To go into more detail would again, be mute, cuz without an adequate terminal crimper, you're again, better off with the complete connector assembly. So basically, I did alot of typing, without netting you any gain.

Hey, when did the guys add the shrug smilie?
To show my appreciation, I promise not to abuse it, as a particular someone has (in my book) abused the......
