Engine swap need help with wiring.

I am going to swap a motor and trans from a a4 f-body into a M6 f-body. I have the engine swap part down fine, my problem is I need to replace the wiring harness on my 1997 ta with the engine and trans wiring harness on my 1996 z28. Are there any write ups on this procedure or can some one help me out here?

There should be virtually no difference in the 96-97 harnesses.

Thats great. If I am swapping in a A4 motor/trans harness and pcm into a M6 is it just plug and play?
Thanks I was worried about this.

Im not positive since its been a while since i did my stand alone harness. But you will have extra wires if going to a a4. I beleive the reverse lockout switch and backup light switch will be there.

What I read into your post was that you had both harnesses. There should be no problem using either one, but if you have only one harness, all of the transmission plugs may not be there.
