I have just pulled the V-6 with a 5 speed from a '94 Camaro. I want to put in a small block V-8 crate engine with a 6 speed. Any suggestions as to problems I may encounter, and any suggestions for exhaust, frame connectors, etc.?

 

Are you considering an LT1 engine (Gen 2 SBC) or a Gen 1 SBC? That will make a huge difference in the answer.

The V6->LT1 swap is fairly common, and you can probably find more info on the V6 Tech forum. You will need to swap the K-member, possibly change front springs, replace the V6's 2-piece driveshaft with a 1-piece. If you don't have a limited slip rear axle, you might want to swap in a complete rear from a V8 car, to get the posi and the disc brakes.
