Hello,

My new motor is almost done and I want to install it from the bottom since its all assembled on the stand. Can I leave the wiring harness in the car and just plug everything in once I install the motor? I also left the AC compressor connected so I dont need to recharge it.

Everything is unplugged right now since I tore down the old motor to the shortblock which is still in the car.

I just done want to have to mess with taking the kick panel off and the pcm...etc. I think the only connections remaining are the ABS and Trans plugs...which I will get to next.

 

yes u can. just unplug all the connectors and lay the harness on the right fender, and dont forget to unplug the connector on the transmision if ur dropping it out the bottom.
