CSR pump dead after 6k miles

Started the car the other day and the thing wasn't running. I checked for voltage and it was getting power. Seems like the motor has locked up, any way to take these apart and repair them? I would try to get it warrantied, but i've had it on the car for 2 years. I just don't drive it very often.

I doubt they are serviceable, although you could probably send it back to CSR and they can fix it (for a fee, of course).

Some posters have have written they were able to send CSR and Mezziere pumps back for rebuilding. Give the manufacturer a call. Also if there is a local small hp electric motor repair shop (rewinding rotors, bearing etc for appliances and such) they probably can service dc motors too.

CSR rebuilds them, I had a one where the impeller came off after about an hour of use. As the impeller loosened it started hanging up and blowing fuses. Now I have a spare.
