Engine Miss

I have a bad engine miss that happens throughout the RPM Band and during idle. I have a new opti and plugs. After testing it today there was a burning smell coming from the drivers side of the engine (none from pass. side). Does anyone have any ideas to what this could be? It happened in a matter of seconds during seafoam.

Re: Engine Miss

ok my first suggestion would be examining ur wires to find any cracks or burn thru's or possibly one sitting on the headers causing it to arch like mad when warm the best idea i can give u on the burning smell would have to be burnt oil leakin from a gasket or silicone surrounding the sprak plug wire...good luck man

Re: Engine Miss

check compression on that side...or maybe a head gasket??

Also check your plugs one of them could have a cracked insulator which will give you no spark
