Lt header install

Hey, i searched and could not find anything specific enouph, i have a 1997 pontiac t/a with lt-1 v-8 and i was wondering
I know i need 02 extensions but i was looking to buy some and i saw that there are 2 kinds, flat type and square style. I was wondering which ones i need and from other posts i read 24 inches is to long but i will probably go with that. Thanks for the replys in advance.

It had dual cats and the exhaust system is stock.

If I'm not mistaken:

Square=rear

I also got the 24" extensions

24 inches is excessive, I had to bundle them up with zipties. I just swapped them for 12 inch ones though and I purchased them from www.ls1speed.com for 18.00 a piece.
