engine doesn't want to find idle

So I have been messing with the car trying to find out why the door locks dont work and I dis-connected the battery overnight. I put it back together and took the maro out tonight. Right away it didn't want to idle nicely. It would find idle here and there for a little bit. It was dropping to around 550. I haven't been in the engine bay moving anything either.

- I did stop and check for arcing (sp?) at the wires. I have a tiny spot that appears to be the boot on one wire. Well, I figured it wasn't this because I have burned up wires before and I dont think the idle jumped around then. I think it may be something else.

What are your door locks doing ? Keep in mind the are a multiplexed
system so they are a pain to troubleshoot .

AZ2ENVY,

THe switches dont work AT ALL. My key fob will unlock the driver door. I have power to the switches and have applied power to the actuators and they work both ways. The switches also work when tested. Now I am about to test the Receiver in the pass. kick panel. I have read you can jump a couple of wires to test if the receiver is bad.

I car needs to relearn a few things after you disconnect the battery. It will adjust and go back to normal.

agreed, let it idle for ~10 minutes or so, and should be back to normal
