My HC are through the roof @ 4264 ppm passing is 175. My CO% was 2.87with 1.00 passing. The third reading was a dilution check co + co2% which it passed. With what mods are done have I just pushed it to far to pass emissions? Can a bad converter give me such high readings?
Background, car was pulled from road 5yrs ago due to failing emissions after cam install and also having oil pressure issues. Over the past year I had the engine rebuilt and added the heads and got the car back together and running. It was programmed by PCM for less for both the cam install and then reprogrammed for the build so I believe it should be pretty close to a dead on tune.

Any advised is appreciated

 

The purpose of the catalytic converter is to minimize HC, CO and NOx emissions. Appears they don't test for NOx. HC and CO elevate with a rich A/F mixture. The extremely high HC could be pointing to leakin injector(s), a leak in the vacuum line for the fuel pressure reulator, etc. Running with too low a coolant temp will increase HC and CO, but not to that degree.
