Which Electric water pump for the LT1?

what other things need to be done, any special modifcations needed for the ewp. i want to do it, but other people have told me that there is other stuff that needs to be done and motified and it dosent bolt right up. is this correct?

Need to trim the fan shroud for clearance, that's about it. I haven't had any problems with my Meziere.

For you guys with 180* stats - You should get your fan temps reprogrammed if going with a lower stat. That's why your temps creep up in traffic.

You don't have to trim your shroud for the CSI/CSR. I've had mine for 3 years with no problems. We also have a standard SBC CSI pump on our 10 second '70 Camaro that has performed flawlessly. Even with a 400 block in it, it never goes above 210*...Even right after a run. I can't recall my LT1 ever getting to 180*.

I've had my Meziere since '01... no problems yet. I've never seen it above 180*. It was a daily driver for about 2 years of that time.

Why do people not recommend them for street cars?
