Is it easy to change transmission fluid?

I do most other maintenance myself. The only thing I have never tried doing is change my tranny fluid.

What do I need to do it?

filter and gasket kit from napa 12 bucks, 6 quarts off tranny fluid, the best method i found is take all the bolt out except the 4 corners then let 2 of the corners down and it will start to drain then just continue with the other bolts it doesnt make a mess or soak yourself, i just did mine the other day now that you speak of it

Its pretty easy. Back when i had my 93 z28 a4 i changed the fluid. Just make sure that when you pull out the old filter that the gasket comes with it. Also, get it up in the air pretty high because when it came time to put up the new filter it was hard to because i didnt have enough room.
