People buy the cheapest Chinese crap they can and then are surpised when it is exactly what they payed for - a piece of junk.

Agreed to some extent with the "cheap" comments. The crank I bought is forged and the two problems I had cost me $30 extra from the overall price. The bushing I received for free from Eagle. The crank balanced well and did not need any material added. Even with these two minor setbacks I probably would still buy Eagle or equivalent and take the gamble.

I know it's cheap, but how about some advice on the situation!

Bolt the hub on?
Have the hub keyed?
Or am I intercoursed?

Why can't you call them and have it replaced?

The engine is together and I'd rather have a "simple" fix, if possible.

the stock hub is tapered right?

I would say if it didn't bottom out try it and see what happens..... If you really don't want to pull it back down you could probly try a different hub or have one machined.....

I think you need to talk to a good machinist to see your options.....I realize you don't want to take it back apart, An eagle kit was recommended to me also..so I went with it and didn't have any problems.

I'm another hater of Eagle cranks, having worked on some new engines and had balancer fitment problems.

Maybe get a Chinese balancer on the other side of tolerance to fit it.

Now were thinking. Maybe paint the snout with the paint to take up the slack.

It's a used crank, just a couple miles. My brother had it but didn't run it long enough for any problems to arise. He probably just didn't pay attention to how easy it went on.
