E5 Torx wrench

anyone know where i could find one... I have tried Sear's, Ace's, Radio Shack, Walmart, O'reillys, and Auto Zone... This is the tool that takes the Opti apart... E5 Torx

Are you sure its an E5? .... thought it was an E4, but I could be wrong. In any case, you can use a torx screw head as a torx E4 driver... the same size as the ones in the TB cover plate. T15??

this is a male screw not a female screw that why it needs to be a E4 and not a T whatever... A freind of mine told me the same thing and I was like wtf i have three opti's in the garage and all of them are male head bolts not female head... But for some reason he says his is female and the T whatever works for him but not for me...

Yes... the Opti has a male Torx "head" on the screws. A screw from the TB cover plate has a T15 "female" hole in the head. That female screw will fit perfectly over the E4 male portion (sounds obscene... hope the moderator doesn't ban me ) of the screw in the Opti cover. You put the T15 screw in a pair of vise grips, and use it as a socket. I know it works.

that a great idea... oh what I have to find those screws because I replaced them with allen head bolts.... Damn the luck....


i thought the same thing female screw... lol
