Bret,

The shop said the deck was zero'd out, if you mean with the piston is at tdc then the piston was level with the deck if I remember correctly and the dish is a -15. The gasket is .039.

Ok so you are at the 11:1 range with that then.

What's your thoughts in using one of these cams for my setup from Lunati:

232/242 .544/.560 with 1.6 rr 108

242/252 .560/.576 with 1.6 rr 108

Re: Dyno'd my car today.

i wonder how much of the problem stems from the unported lt4 intake.

I don't know a whole lot here but my guess is that those stock heads and intake can't feed the larger displacment. You would probably see some good gain with ported heads so they can feed the larger volume of air need to feed the extra cubic inches.

Re: Dyno'd my car today.

I think someone said this earlier, but just run it at the track. As long as your tune is good, A/F ratio, timing, etc, then just run it and your mph will tell you whats going on. I got bashed a while ago for my "low" dyno numbers and my "too small" cam and just ran a 11.51 @ 118 with a 1.55 60'...my dyno numbers from 2 different dynojets ranged from 362-400rwhp and 352-430 rwtq...I guess it all depends on what you want...high dyno numbers or good track times/mph..Don't get too caught up in the dyno numbers...run it at the track and see...
