Re: DYNO test today....see results?

Got a verbal over the phone.............base line the car at 260 hp (which is already 35 more hp than a dyno a week previous from another guy) and with tuning a top hp of 314. Although even tuner still thinks there may be something with the plugs and wires? Do i run it down the track on a new tune or check further into what is up. I don't have any numbers yet or have i drove the car yet.

Picking up car tomorrow

Any thoughts on improvement with the tune

I initially thought that it was dyno'd in second gear and there was a ton of knock.

no, you do have some drievtrain losses with your built a4, stall, 4.10 rear so the hp could be in the right range.

post your dynograph if you can, if the tuner thinks your having some spark issue, i forgot to ask how new your opti and wires and coil are, then have that looked at first before you run it hard.

glad some tuning helped out tons! see guys i told you the car can run fine with a messed up tune. timing was prolly kicked way back.

stock throttle body? just check to make sure your act. seeing wide open throttle. take off the intake boot and have someone floor it. look to make sure the blades are all the way open. never know. also, what lifters do you have? if the lifters are too tight, that would kill power across the board, but feel good otherwise. same goes for fuel pressure. you should put on a fresh fuel filter and check the fuel press. should be around 40psi. and check that it doesnt nose dive while on the throttle.
