Re: Dyno numbers for bolt on only 95 Z28

Nice numbers, I got the numbers in my sig with AS&M mids, random tech cat, borla with mid plate, moroso CAI, 1LE elbow, custom PCM tuning, and airfoil. Like you, NO roller rockers. I also dont have an aftermarket throttle body or any kind of cutout. I'm pleased since I have non-long tube headers, go through a cat, and dont even have all the bolt ons. SAE dynojet BTW

5.0 this. Thats an immpressive package you got there. To tell you the truth I really didnt see much gain at all with the longtubes and 52mm tb. I never dynoed my car before them, but just from track time it didnt show a huge improvement. I ran a 12.786@106.72 with stock manifolds @ Da of about 500
To be honest, I really dont care how much power it puts down on a dyno. I just care about how fast it goes at the track. Its nice to know how much power, but ultimately to me just my E/T /MPH matters.

I hear you on the ETs and MPHs.... mine runs in 7000-9000+ DAs all the time in Colorado, so my actual power is somewhere in the 240rwhp range. Needless to say it doesnt run 12s like yours I dont imagine there would be much gain from TB either, but if I wanted to go for ultimate bolt on numbers, I guess the 3-4rwhp would count for something. an electric water pump (which I also DO NOT have) might be good for another 4-6rwhp, and roller rockers are usually good for 8-10rwhp. I think overall 320rwhp+ is possible with bolt ons. I wont go for any more with bolt ons though..too much money for too little return

Its held up to ohh about 15-20 5,000 rpm clutch drops. It is still going strong too. It just slips a lil when the track is fully prepped and on the 15" M/T
