dumb question

anyone ever install a balancer hub / damper / and the ud pulley with out a balancer removal/installer tool ? Like just taking turns torqueing them to a certain lb ?

Just curious, i wanted to get some work done tonight but unfortunately everything is closed :P , damn work tomarrow and the next day and the next day and the next, but i spose i can wait if thats a very bad thing =P thanks.

I never used an installer. i just drew everything in with the bolt (or bolts depending on if its the damper/pulley or the 3 prong hub). Once it draws in all the way you can torqe it. If your installing the hub on the crank, you can use a block of wood against the front and hit it on with a mallet.

well nice thing is the pulley was already torqued on with the 3 style installer, so all i have to put on is the hub itself witch is only one bolt , so i guess all is well
