Changed oil yesterday. Used the x-tra cap. K&N oil filter(HP3002?). When I filled up the filter, it took a whole quart. All in all, I used just shy of 6 quarts of new oil. Was this too much? The dipstick now reads a bit over the "X'd" area on the dipstick...where it says normal operating level. Sorry for being stupid on this, but I can't stop thinking about it.

Sould be fine, as long as it is not whayyy over the line on the dipstick.

 

Not wayyyy, but enough that I can see it without looking too hard. Maybe between 1/16" - 1/8", but not more than 1/8". Guess I'm just **** but I'm just paranoid about F'ing something up. After it sits a couple days and everything drains back down, I'll check it again and if it's way above, I'll unscrew the drain plug and let some out for 1/2 a second. Should do it, huh?
