Dumb cam question

I was just looking for some recommendations out there. I have been gone over the last couple weeks doing military stuff and I have a little more than a week before I come home, so I need to act NOW. I have a 224/232 cam that has .490/.510 lift on a 112. I wanted to go a little bigger and I plan to port my heads. I was thinking of just going to the XE 224/230 due to the lift numbers, but am also considering the 227/233/111 as well. My biggest thing is I dont want to give up the 28mpg I'm getting now without roller rockers or roller chain, otherwise I'd go to my cc306. I'm upgrading to Comp 987 springs as well. Any suggestions would be great!
